With a 101-93 win over the Lakers on Friday, the Thunder improved to 15-4 for the season. Oklahoma City, who were -3 favorites, covered the spread with the win. The game’s total points of 194 were well below the 229.5 O/U line.
Oklahoma City jumped out to a 32-24 lead after the 1st quarter, but the Lakers closed the gap by winning the 2nd and 3rd quarters. The Thunder pulled away in the 4th, outscoring L.A. 30-24 to seal the win.
The Rockets Are Coming Off A Win
The Rockets improved to 14-6 on the season with a 122-115 win over the 76ers on Wednesday. Houston, favored by 5.5 points, covered the spread with the win. The total score of 237 points exceeded the O/U line of 219.5 by 17.5 points.
Houston jumped out to a 35-24 lead after the 1st quarter, but the 76ers fought back, winning the 2nd quarter 27-20. The Rockets edged the 3rd quarter 33-31 and led 88-82 going into the 4th. Philadelphia went on an 11-0 run to take a 114-108 lead, but Houston responded to close out the game.
