The Hawks dropped to 22-24 on the season after a 100-92 loss to the Timberwolves on Monday. Atlanta was +10.5 point underdogs heading into the game, and while they lost, they managed to cover the spread. The total points for the game were 192, well below the 217.5 O/U line.
Minnesota took control early with an 11-0 run, stretching their lead from 42-35 to 53-35. Atlanta fought back in the 3rd quarter, outscoring the Timberwolves 31-20, but they couldn’t complete the comeback, as they were held to just 18 points in the 4th quarter.
