Memphis went on a 13-0 run early, but the Clippers responded by outscoring the Grizzlies 38-24 in the 2nd quarter and 36-21 in the 3rd. Los Angeles entered the 4th quarter with a 102-84 lead, allowing them to withstand Memphis’ 30-point final period.

Utah improved to 13-40 on the season with a 131-119 win over the Lakers on Wednesday. The Jazz were +9 point underdogs at home but managed to cover the spread with the victory. The total points for the game were 250, surpassing the O/U line of 236.5.

Utah took control of the game with an 11-0 run, stretching the score from 75-69 to 86-69. They outscored the Lakers 40-30 in the 3rd quarter and entered the 4th with a 104-86 lead. The Lakers won the final quarter 33-27, but the Jazz’s strong 3rd quarter was enough to secure the win.

Despite a rough start, giving up 39 points in the 1st quarter, the Clippers tightened up defensively in the 2nd and 3rd, allowing just 24 and 21 points, respectively. However, they struggled to contain the Grizzlies from beyond the arc, where Memphis hit 18 threes at a 50% clip.

Los Angeles sent the Grizzlies to the line 15 times, where they converted 8 free throws. The Clippers grabbed 33 defensive rebounds, allowing 9 offensive boards, and recorded 17 steals in the game.
