Charlotte put together a 14-0 run early in the game, but the Mavericks chipped away at the lead, outscoring the Hornets 23-18 in the 3rd quarter. Charlotte entered the 4th quarter down 73-67 and couldn’t close the gap, as both teams scored over 25 points in the final period.
