The Tigers’ offense totaled 455 yards, with 103 yards coming on the ground. Josh Williams led the rushing attack with 62 yards on 13 carries and scored one of LSU’s three touchdowns through the air.

South Alabama’s defense will need to tighten up after allowing 393 total yards to Appalachian State. The Jaguars gave up 266 passing yards on 21 completions and allowed 127 rushing yards on 27 attempts.
