Philadelphia took a 7-6 lead into halftime, but the Falcons opened the 3rd quarter with a field goal and a late 3rd quarter touchdown to take the lead for good. Philadelphia battled back in the 4th quarter, with Jalen Hurts’ 1-yard touchdown run putting them ahead 18-15, and Jake Elliot added a late field goal to put the Eagles up 21-18. However, the Falcons scored the game-winning touchdown with 38 seconds left in the 4th quarter.
Kirk Cousins had a big game for Atlanta, throwing four touchdown passes, all to Darnell Mooney. The Eagles were 5.5-point favorites heading into the game, and the 43 combined points fell short of the over/under line of 46.5 points. Despite the loss, the Eagles did manage to cover the spread.
