Hand that polished Parlay Blog Betting championship belt over, please, because WE DID IT!
Finally, after enduring major upsets and teams faltering down the stretch stacking into an impressive losing streak, it was on a same-game parlay that we finally snatched the championship back from the house. And we will wear this belt with pride, knowing we earned it back on a same-game NBA parlay.
That’s right! Yesterday, we took the seeming lay-up of the Los Angeles Lakers defeating the Rudy Gobert-less Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA play-in tournament. The Lakers won 108-102 in overtime, hitting the under by a wide margin, and with the Timberwolves covering the spread by two points.
We are now 1-2 on weekly parlays and 5-4 on individual picks. We turn to the multi-game parlay to keep our championship!
Dallas Stars over St. Louis Blues (-175)
The Dallas Stars are in the playoffs but still have something to play for as they are fighting with the Colorado Avalanche to win the Central Division, currently one point back of the Avs. The Stars finish their season with two games against the St. Louis Blues.
The Stars have won four straight games and are 7-3 in the last ten, while the Blues have lost three of the previous five games and are 5-5 in the last ten.
The Stars won the first matchup 4-1 on November 28.
Dallas expects to go deep in the playoffs and seems primed for the post-season to start. Take the Stars to extend their winning streak to five.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs New Orleans Pelicans Under 227.5 (-110)
OKC is 3-7 over/under in the last ten and 46-35-1 over/under this season, while New Orleans is 38-44 over/under on the season and 4-6 over/under in the last ten.
In the four head-to-head matchups this season, the Thunder and Pelicans have a 1-3 over/under record, although the lowest total points line they faced was 232.0 points.
With this being the playoffs, 227.5 points seems high. We’re taking the under, but expect the Thunder vs Pelicans to be the highest-scoring of the play-in tournament games.
Chicago Bulls vs Toronto Raptors Under 212.0 (-110)
The Raptors are 5-5 over/under in the last ten games, while the Bulls are 6-3-1 over/under in the last ten games. However, this is the play-in, and if the first two play-in tournament games are any evidence, defense is tighter, and scoring will be down.
In the three meetings between the Bulls and Raptors this season, all three games hit the under, with 217 total points as the highest combined total in one game.
We’re following the head-to-head trend and factor in the post-season, making our pick to take the under.
