Action247 Multi-Game Parlay for April 16, 2023

With heightened confidence and expectations comes crushing defeat.

We created a same-game parlay around the Philadelphia 76ers opening the playoffs with a win over the Brooklyn Nets 121-101. However, the 76ers to win wasn’t the only pick we got right as the game easily surpassed the total points of 215.0 points.

However, the Nets couldn’t come close to covering the spread.

With another parlay blog loss, we finish the week with a 1-5-1 record but 11-9-1 on individual picks.

We’ll take the positive record on individual picks and return to the NBA playoffs for Sunday’s multi-game parlay and another chance to reclaim our parlay blog betting championship.

Memphis Grizzlies over Los Angeles Lakers (-175)

The Memphis Grizzlies have a 35-6 record in Tennessee, while the Lakers have a 20-21 record on the road.

The Lakers hold the head-to-head advantage, having won two of the three games this season, but these wins were both on home court. The Grizzlies won 121-109 on home court on February 28.

The Lakers have won eight of the last ten games, including the play-in tournament. The Grizzlies had a 6-4 record in the previous ten games of the regular season.

We’re taking the Grizzlies to open the NBA playoffs with a home win.

Miami Heat versus Milwaukee Bucks Over 219.0 (-110)

The Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat had 41-41 over/under records this season.

Miami has hit the under in the last two games but is 6-4 over/under in the last ten games. Milwaukee has hit the over in the previous two games and is 7-3 over/under in the last ten games.

The two head-to-head meetings in Miami hit the under, while the two meetings in Milwaukee hit the over.

Giannis and the Bucks will do their part to help this game the over.

Phoenix Suns -7 over LA Clippers (-110)

The Phoenix Suns, with Kevin Durant in the lineup, are undefeated.

The LA Clippers will not have Paul George in the lineup, forcing the ball into Russell Westbrook’s hands more to make big plays. We don’t like that mix for the Clippers.

The Clippers went 40-42 ats this season, while the Suns went 43-38-1 ats.

The road team won all four head-to-head matchups this season, and the spread was covered by the favorite in three of those games.

We’re taking KD, Book, and the Suns to cruise to their first win of the playoffs and to cover the spread doing so.
