Last night, we created a same-game parlay around the New Jersey Devils and Tampa Bay Lighting in one of the more difficult games on the NHL schedule to bet on.

The Tampa Bay Lightning won 4-3 in a shootout. We had the Devils winning and covering the spread while thinking these teams would play to their averages and betting trends and hit the under.

We were unequivocally wrong and failed. With the parlay loss yesterday, our weekly record drops to 0-3-2, while we drop to 6-7-2 on individual picks.

Today, we return to the multi-game parlay hoping to find a winning and valuable parlay for your consideration.

Toronto Maple Leafs over Carolina Hurricanes (-125)

The Carolina Hurricanes have won three of the last five games and have a 6-4 straight-up record in the last ten. The Toronto Maple Leafs have lost two straight and three of five but are 6-4 straight-up in the last ten.

Toronto won the only matchup this season 3-1 on November 6 as the road underdog.

Both teams are fairly evenly matched statistically and have fairly similar home and road records: Carolina is 20-6-6 on the road, while Toronto has a 24-7-5 home record.

We’re taking Toronto to end the losing streak and get the win on home ice.

Minnesota Timberwolves over Chicago Bulls (+115)

Both teams have lost three of the last five games. However, the Timberwolves won the first and only matchup this season 150-126 in Minnesota.

Chicago has an 18-16 home record, while Minnesota is 15-18.

We pick tight, difficult games, and this one is no exception. Take the Timberwolves to pull the upset on the road.

Atlanta Hawks over Golden State Warriors (-169)

The Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks have both lost three of the last five games. However, you almost have to pick the Hawks to win at home: the Warriors have an unbelievable 7-27 record on the road.

No one seems to be able to figure out what’s going on with the warriors on the road. Regardless, take the Hawks to win at home.
