We’ve told you plenty of times that the Toronto Maple Leafs suck as a general rule. Last night, the Maple Leafs were terrible, losing 7-2 to the New York Islanders and completely blowing up our same-game parlay.

We take solace in the fact the game hit the over.

With the Maple Leafs’ horrible outing last night, our weekly parlay record drops to 0-3 for the week and 3-6 on individual picks.

We’ve got a lot of NBA games and a limited NHL schedule but will feature both hockey games in our multi-game parlay.

The Colorado Avalanche are rolling despite their ridiculous injury report, having won six straight games.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are struggling, having lost four straight games.

Pittsburgh narrowly won the first game 2-1 in overtime, but Alexandar Georgiev should lead the Avs to a seventh-straight win.

Edmonton Oilers vs Arizona Coyotes Over 7.0 (+100)

As if there was any other choice to make in this game.

You know that when it comes to Edmonton, we always take the over.

The Oilers are still the highest-scoring team in hockey and have a 4-1 over/under record in the last five games.

We love the Yotes, who have a 5-4-1 over/under record in the last ten games, but this will be the McDavid show, with Edmonton doing most of the scoring and hitting the over.

Phoenix Suns over Los Angeles Lakers (-115)

The Suns have lost four of the last five games, while the Lakers have lost three of the last five games. Los Angeles is 6-4 in the last ten games, while Phoenix is 5-5.

Phoenix has won both previous meetings with Los Angeles, winning 115-105 on November 22nd and 130-104 on December 19th, with both games in Phoenix.

Despite the Lakers’ 19-17 home record against the Suns’ 15-21 road record, we will take the better Phoenix Suns to win.
