Last night, we took our hometown Nashville Predators as the centerpiece of a same-game parlay. The Predators defeated the Seattle Kraken 2-1 in a shootout and ended our losing streak in the process.

We have a record of 1-3-1 on parlays while improving to 6-8-1 on individual picks. Here is our championship-defending parlay that will bring our individual picks record over .500.

Houston Rockets vs Memphis Grizzlies Over 234.0 (-110)

We’re riding the home state luck for leg one of the parlay. The Rockets have a 4-6 over/under record in the last ten games, while the Grizzlies are 6-4 over/under.

These two teams played on Wednesday night, combining for 255 points. In the first three meetings of the season, the over was listed at 130.5 points or higher, with Houston and Memphis covering the spread by at least 20 points in two of those games while hitting the under by 20.5 in one game.

New York Islanders over Columbus Blue Jackets (-189)

If the New York Islanders lose to the Columbus Blue Jackets, they shouldn’t be allowed in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The Islanders are fighting for their playoff lives, have won three straight, and have a 7-3 straight-up record in the last ten games. CBJ has lost three of the last five games and has a 3-7 straight-up record in the last ten.

The Islanders have won the last six head-to-head meetings. An Islanders’ win should be a lock.

Chicago Bulls over Portland Trail Blazers (-141)

The Chicago Bulls have won three of the last five games and are 6-4 in the last ten.

Portland is 1-4 in the last five games and 3-7 in the last ten.

Chicago has won the previous two meetings between these teams, winning 129-121 on February 4.

The Bulls are the better team and should win on the road.
