Action247 Multi-Game Parlay for March 3, 2023

We have a confession to make: we cried tears of pain last night as the Philadelphia 76ers mocked our continued faith in them. Golden gods from Philly, the 76ers are not.

What makes last night’s parlay hurt worse is that what you read yesterday was draft number two of the parlay blog. In draft number one, we picked the Dallas Mavericks to win and cover the spread but kept the pick on the under. Something in the stats convinced us to go against our instincts, we did, and we lost.

Well, if you couldn’t tell by now, our daily parlay did not come close to hitting last night as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 133-126. Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic combined for 82 points alone.

We’ve got two more chances this week to improve our 0-5 weekly parlay record, and we want to get back over .500 on our individual picks, currently sitting at 6-9. We’re returning to the multi-game parlay, keeping the difficulty high, and inviting the most talented hockey player ever back into the blog.

Edmonton Oilers vs Winnipeg Jets Over 6.5 (-130)

Welcome back to the parlay betting blog, Connor McDavid and the McDavids of Edmonton!

You might notice a trend when we pick the McDavids for a leg of the parlay: we always take them to hit the over. You, me, our pets, family, and friends all know the story of Edmonton: the Kings of the over with the most lethal offense in the NHL.

I mean, you should when you have 97 on your team.

However, the difficulty level is really high on Friday night, as Edmonton takes on the Winnipeg Jets, who have a 1-7-2 over/under record in the last ten games.

The Jets are averaging 2.7 goals-against per game (8th in the NHL), and goalie Connor Hellbuyck has been excellent this season (26-18-2, .922 SV%).

Winnipeg isn’t the most offensively gifted team, so the McDavids will have to do the heavy lifting and carry the scoring to hit the over. However, they are the Kings of the over, posting a 7-2-1 over/under record in the last ten games and a ridiculous 40-18-4 over/under record this season.

Take the McDavids and Jets to hit the over.

New Jersey Devils over Vegas Golden Knights (-115)

golden knights vs devils nhl bettingThe New Jersey Devils are the third-ranked team in the NHL and are riding a three-game winning streak into Friday night. Statistically, the Devils are the better team in most basic categories and can outscore the Golden Knights if need be.

However, the Vegas Golden Knights are in for a fight in the Pacific Division and need every win, especially against quality opponents like Jersey.

New Jersey is 22-6 in the last 28 road games, while the favorite is 5-1 in the last six games.

Take the third-best team in the NHL, the New Jersey Devils, with excellent moneyline odds to get the win.

Phoenix Suns over Chicago Bulls (-169)

bulls vs suns nba bettingThe parlay blog has been waiting to reintroduce the Phoenix Suns to the party. We put the Suns on the back burner as they struggled without Devin Booker.

We kept the Suns on the bench while Kevin Durant recovered from injury. The Suns have won three of the last five games and have a 7-3 record in the last ten games. Chicago has won three of the last four games but is 3-7 in the last ten games.

Enough stats because most of them don’t count because those stats and records we accumulated without Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. Well, they are both healthy, and the Suns should start stacking wins and improving their stats as they chase the NBA Championship.

Take Booker, KD, and the Suns to win on the moneyline.
