Action247 Multi-Game Parlay for May 26, 2023

Last night didn’t go as planned at all, and the Boston Celtics only need to win one more game to force a game seven (which they’ll likely win).

We rode with Playoff Jimmy and the Butlerettes, who seemed disinterested in game five and have mounting injury issues exposing their current depth. More importantly, the Boston Celtics have put two consistent games together.

The Boston Celtics 110-97 won game five with a dominant performance in the first quarter and handed us a loss last night.

We used our other two picks for game four of the Western Conference Finals between the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars.

VGK and the Stars went to overtime again, with the Dallas staving off elimination with a 3-2 win. While we selected Vegas and received a loss, we also picked the under of 5.5. After yesterday’s results, our parlay record drops to 1-4, while we have an 8-7 record on individual pics.

With no NHL or NBA playoffs on the schedule today, the parlay blog takes its first venture of the season to MLB to regain our Championship title while we’re likely to drop a motorsports reference or betting pick or two this weekend with the Indy 500 and Monaco Grand Prix – two of the three Crown Jewels of motorsports – both taking place this weekend.

Tampa Bay Rays over Los Angeles Dodgers (-125)

rays vs dodgersThe Tampa Bay Rays sit atop the AL East – the most competitive division in baseball – and have a 24-5 record at home. The Los Angeles Dodgers have a 14-13 road record.

This is the first game the Rays and Dodgers have played since the 2020 World Series.

The Dodgers have a 5-5 record in the last ten games, while the Rays have a 7-3 record.

The Dodgers might be 4-0 in the last four road games vs a left-handed starting pitcher, but we like the Rays to open the weekend set with a win over the Dodgers.

Detroit Tigers over Chicago White Sox (+120)

tigers vs white soxThe White Sox are 7-2 in the last nine matchups in Detroit and have historical success against the Tigers, having a 44-20 record in the previous 64 games overall.

However, Detroit won game one of this weekend’s series 7-2 and won five of the last seven games against the White Sox dating back to September 2022.

Chicago has a 9-18 road record, while Detroit has an 11-10 home record.

Despite Chicago having the better-starting pitcher – statistically speaking, we’re taking the Detroit Tigers to win at home.

Seattle Mariners over Pittsburgh Pirates (-169)

mariners vs piratesWe’re taking a third home team for leg three of our parlay. The Mariners have a 14-12 home record, while the Pirates have a 13-11 road record.

The Pirates are 1-4 in the last five matchups, but those games date back to 2019 and 2016.

Pittsburgh is 4-6 in the last ten games, while Seattle is 6-4.

The statistical splits between the Mariners and Pirates starting pitchers are negligible, as are both teams’ offensive and defensive splits.

We’ll take the Mariners at home to win.
