ACTION247: NBA/NHL Parlay for Dec. 10, 2022

We’re still working through the first half of the NBA and NHL seasons. With a few big games scheduled today, let’s take a look at how we think three matches will play out.

Dallas Mavericks (+2) over Chicago Bulls

bulls vs mavericks nba bettingWith a record of 10-14, the Chicago Bulls are still somehow favorites in this game. Over their last five games, they have a record of 2-3 with a recent win over the Washington Wizards.

Today, they’ll face the Dallas Mavericks, a team led by Luka Doncic. Averaging 111.7 points per game, the Bulls will look to take down Dallas today.

The Dallas Mavericks have a record of 13-12 but haven’t done well on the road. So far, they have a 3-8 record when playing on the road.

Yesterday, they lost 106-105 to the Milwaukee Bucks and headed straight for Chicago. With Luka averaging 32.9 points per game, however, we’ll go with the Mavericks +2 here.

Denver Nuggets (-8) over Utah Jazz

nuggets vs jazz nba bettingThis game should be a pretty interesting one to watch because of all the injuries. The Utah Jazz will be without Collin Sexton and Johnny Juzang this evening.

Lauri Markkanen is also listed as “day-to-day” and is their leading scorer. They’re coming off a 118-108 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, so the injuries are definitely impacting the team.

The Denver Nuggets have a 6-3 record when playing at home this season. Over their last five games, they’ve gone 2-3 with a recent win over Portland.

The only player ruled out for them is Michael Porter Jr., who still plays a key role. However, with Nikola Jokic back in action, we think the Nuggets will cover this weekend.

Minnesota Wild (-115) over Vancouver Canucks

canucks vs wild nhl bettingCurrently on a three-game winning streak, things are looking up for the Vancouver Canucks. They’ve evened out their record to 12-12-3 and have a 5-6-1 record at home.

The Canucks are one of the best-scoring teams in the NHL, averaging 3.59 goals per game. The problem is with their defense, however, which allows 3.89 goals per game.

The Minnesota Wild have a record of 13-11-2 and are 6-5-1 on the road this season. They’ve won three of their last five games, including a big win over the Dallas Stars.

They are, however, on a two-game road losing streak. To remedy this, they’ll need to find a way to win tonight. Overwhelming the Canucks early is what we think will win them this game.
