ACTION247: NBA/NHL Parlay for Dec. 12, 2022

We’re still working through the first half of the NBA and NHL seasons. With a few big games scheduled today, let’s take a look at how we think three matches will play out.

Nashville Predators (-115) over St. Louis Blues

blues vs predators nhl bettingOur first game that you should tune in to watch is the Nashville Predators versus the St. Louis Blues.

The Blues are the home team in this game and have a record of 5-7-1 at home. They have an overall record of 12-15-1 this season and are sixth in the Central Division. They’ve also lost four of their last five games and allow 3.86 goals per game.

The Nashville Predators have an overall record of 12-11-2 this season. They’ve gone 3-2 over their last five games and allow just 2.88 goals per game.

The Predators have a few problems of their own, however, especially on offense. They’re scoring just 2.56 goals per game but should be in better shape here. Take the Predators at -115 over the St. Louis Blues today.

Minnesota Timberwolves (+4.5) over Portland Trail Blazers

trailblazers vs timberwolves nba bettingBoth of these teams come into the game having just played each other. Last night, the Timberwolves lost 124-118 to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Tonight, the Timberwolves will look to bounce back from that loss with a much-needed road win. They have a 6-6 record when playing on the road this season and are 3-2 in their last five games.

The Portland Trail Blazers have an overall record of 14-12 this season. They’re 6-6 when playing at home and have gone 3-2 in their last five as well.

They do, however, have several players sidelined today, including Gary Payton II. With a few players injured, we’re going to take the Timberwolves +4.5 over the Trail Blazers.

Boston Celtics (-4) over Los Angeles Clippers

clippers vs celtics nba bettingAfter a 123-107 loss to the Golden State Warriors, the Boston Celtics are 21-6. They’re still one of the best teams in the NBA, so the loss didn’t hurt too much.

Two of their starting big men have been sidelined, however. Both Al Horford and Robert Williams III have been ruled out for this game. Without them, Boston might have a hard time guarding the interior.

The Los Angeles Clippers have a 2-3 record in their last five games this season. Their most recent game was a 114-107 loss to the Washington Wizards.

Forward Norman Powell has been ruled out, but he’s the only player on the injury list. This game comes down to who’s better, and at the moment, that’s the Boston Celtics.
