ACTION247: NBA/NHL Parlay for Dec. 14, 2022

We’re still working through the first half of the NBA and NHL seasons. With a few big games scheduled today, let’s take a look at how we think three matches will play out.

Cleveland Cavaliers (+2) over Dallas Mavericks

mavericks vs cavaliers nba bettingWe’ll begin our parlay by taking the Cleveland Cavaliers over the Dallas Mavericks. The Cavaliers, with a record of 17-11, are coming off a tough loss to San Antonio.

However, we can’t ignore the fact that this team is the third-best in the Eastern Conference. They also have one of the best defenses in the NBA and is led by Donovan Mitchell.

The Dallas Mavericks have a record of 14-13 this season. They’ve gone 3-2 over their last five games and recently beat the Oklahoma City Thunder.

At home, they have a record of 11-4 this season, but they’ll meet their match tonight. We expect them to have a lot of trouble getting past the defense of the Cavaliers today.

Los Angeles Clippers (-6.5) over Minnesota Timberwolves

clippers vs timberwolves nba bettingThe Minnesota Timberwolves head into this game as heavy underdogs. When you look at their record over the last five games, you can see why.

They have a 2-3 record over the last five games, with back-to-back losses to Portland. As a team, they average 115.3 points per game, but it hasn’t resulted in wins.

The Los Angeles Clippers will have a lot of points to cover today. After seeing how they performed against the Boston Celtics, however, we’d say they’re in good shape.

They beat the Celtics 113-93 just a few days ago and have only one player on the injury report. In our opinion, the Clippers are the much better pick in this game.

Calgary Flames (-179) over Vancouver Canucks

flames vs canucks nhl bettingOur last game of the day should be a pretty interesting one to watch. The Vancouver Canucks are on the road against the Calgary Flames today.

With a record of 12-13–3, the Canucks are just under .500, but they do have a high-scoring team. On average, the Canucks are putting up 3.46 goals per game. The problem, however, is they’re allowing 3.86 goals per game.

The Calgary Flames have lost their last three games this season. With an overall record of 13-11-5, the Flames rank fifth in the Pacific Division.

The last three losses they suffered were all on the road, and this time they’re at home. When playing at home, the Flames have a 10-5-1 record this season.
