ACTION247: NBA/NHL Parlay for Dec. 15, 2022

We’re still working through the first half of the NBA and NHL seasons. With a few big games scheduled today, let’s take a look at how we think three matches will play out.

Dallas Stars (-115) over Washington Capitals

capitals vs stars nhl bettingThis game is likely to stay pretty close throughout its entirety. However, the Dallas Stars have a record of 17-8-5 this season, so they know how to win.

They also have an offense that averages 3.63 goals per game. You should also take into consideration that their defense allows just 2.73 goals per game.

The Washington Capitals have won their last five games and are trending upward. They’re a solid team with a record of 15-12-4 this season.

However, their offense scores just 3.03 goals per game, which is quite a bit under the Stars. Because of this, we’re going to take Dallas on the road over Washington.

New Orleans Pelicans (-1.5) over Utah Jazz

jazz vs pelicans nba bettingThis is another game that could be pretty close at the beginning. The New Orleans Pelicans, with a record of 18-9, are coming off a loss to the Jazz.

They faced them a few nights ago and ended up losing 121-100. The Pelicans are yet again on the road facing Utah, but we expect the outcome to be different this time.

The Utah Jazz has an overall record of 16-14 this season and is 10-5 at home. Over their last five games, however, the Jazz has gone 2-3.

Though they beat the Pelicans a few days ago, we don’t think that’s how this game will go. Look for the Pelicans to get a fast start and hold the lead against the Jazz tonight.

Los Angeles Clippers (-3) over Phoenix Suns

clippers vs suns nba bettingThe worst part about this game is that there are several players on the injury list. For the Phoenix Suns alone, five players are currently listed as injured.

Although Devin Booker is on the “day-to-day” list, he should take the court. Still, that hasn’t mattered much over the last five games, as the Suns have lost each of them.

The L.A. Clippers have a few injuries that they’re dealing with as well. Both John Wall and Norman Powell have been ruled out for this game.

Still, the Clippers have won three of their last five games and have a 9-6 record at home. We expect the Clippers will be able to win the game and cover the spread.
