After going 1-5 in our first two parlays of the week, we did it y’all! Last night we went three for three and hit our multi-game parlay of the Oilers vs. Ducks hitting the over, the Milwaukee Bucks to cover the spread, and our second straight win riding with the San Antion Spurs to cover a double-digit spread.

While we can’t rely on the Spurs to get us a win on our parlay tonight, we are back in the winning column and ready to try our luck with a same-game parlay featuring the best team in the NHL facing a very hot contender from the Pacific coast for January 12, 2023.

Boston Bruins over Seattle Kraken (-238)

The Boston Bruins have the most absurd record in the NHL, with a 32-4-4 record.

Despite Seattle having an incredible year (24-12-4), there are good reasons why the Bruins are such heavy favorites: Boston is ranked second in goals scored, averaging 3.9 goals per game, while being ranked first defensively, giving up only 2.1 goals per game. Boston has the number-one-ranked penalty kill (85.8%) and the third-ranked powerplay (28.2%).

The Kraken has won six games in a row and are 5-0 in the last five games against the eastern conference. Seattle is facing the mighty Bruins, who have won five of their last six games and are the favorite to win the Stanley Cup right now. We’ll take the Bruins on the moneyline.

Both teams have very similar records against the spread (ATS), with Seattle having a 25-15 ATS record, while Boston is 26-14.

The Kraken are the third-highest-scoring team in the NHL, averaging 3.7 goals per game.

We expect Seattle vs. Boston to be the game of the night, with the Kraken keeping this close to the final whistle.

Boston Bruins vs. Seattle Kraken Over (-105)

We expect a 4-3 Boston win on Thursday night. Boston are averaging 4.2 goals in their last five games, while Seattle is averaging 5.2 goals in the last five games.

Seattle’s scoring will drop off slightly against the best goaltending tandem and defensive team in the NHL, while Boston will continue to be the best team in hockey, earning a one-goal win.
