Action247 Same-Game Parlay for June 3, 2023

Last night, we selected the Milwaukee Brewers to hit the under of 10.0, which they barely did in a Brewers 5-4 victory. That’s one win!

We also selected the Houston Astros to defeat Los Angeles Angels, which the Astros did with a 6-2 final score. That’s two wins!

However, our dreams of parlay victories were dashed by the Baltimore Orioles. We selected the San Francisco Giants to win at home, and the Orioles continued their impressive road-winning ways with a 3-2 victory.

Another so close, yet so far away, for the Parlay Blog’s quest for a win and to regain our Parlay Blog Championship belt. With yesterday’s loss, we drop to a pathetic 0-6 on parlays but improve to 5-13 on individual picks.

So it goes.

However, the wait is over, and the Florida Panthers and Vegas Golden Knights are set to open the Stanley Cup Finals on Saturday night, the focus of our same-game parlay.

Florida Panthers over Vegas Golden Knights (+105)

The Florida Panthers are 9-1 in their last ten games and 8-1 on the road in the playoffs.

These teams split the head-to-head season series, each winning on home ice.

The favorite might be 6-1 in the last seven meetings, and the home team 5-0, but those are regular season trends over multiple seasons.

We simply think Sergei Bobrovsky will continue to be great and will be the better goalie in game 1, giving his team upset victory.

We’re taking the Panthers to win game 1 at T-Mobile Arena.

Florida Panthers +1.5 over Vegas Golden Knights (-250)

The underdog has to cover the spread to win, don’t they? As we’re taking the Panthers as the underdog to win on the moneyline, we’re also going to take them to cover the spread.

Moreover, this game is likely to be close and end in a one-goal score, so taking the Panthers +1.5 in a losing effort isn’t a stretch either.

Florida Panthers vs Vegas Golden Knights Under 5.5 (-105)

The Panthers are 2-8 over/under in their last ten games, while VGK is 5-5 over/under, but those games came against the Dallas Stars and the McDavids of the North.

Both head-to-head matchups hit the under. However, the totals line was set at 6.5 for both games, with one game ending with 6.0 total goals.

We’re taking the under in a 3-2 Florida Panthers game 1 victory.
