Arizona Cardinals Betting Odds 21-22 Season
Under Kliff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray, the Arizona Cardinals are in good hands entering the 2021 season. The Cards finished 2020 with an 8-8 record, narrowly missing out on a Wild Card spot due to the Bears holding the tiebreaker. Arizona had a 6-3 record to start the season and fell apart in the second half of the season, but still managed to have their best record since 2017.
The Cardinals went 7-9 against the spread in 2020, but were a disaster if you bet on their over/under, as they were 5-11 when it came to the total.
Expectations will be way higher for Arizona this season, but it will be a hard road to the playoffs since they play in the loaded NFC West. Luckily, the Cardinals went out and made some big moves in the offseason. Arizona traded for three-time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt, who will help compliment Chandler Jones on the defensive line.
The Cards lost longtime corner Patrick Peterson in free agency, but added Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler to be his replacement. Former Cardinals Haason Reddick and Kenyon Drake also signed elsewhere in the offseason.
Through the air, Kyler Murray will have plenty of options, with arguably the best receiver in the league in DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins will have some more support in his second season in Phoenix, as seven-time Pro Bowler A.J. Green joined the Cardinals in free agency. While the 32-year-old is no longer the elite threat he once was, he’s still a very good number two option for Murray.
Action 247 Sportsbook has the Cardinals over/under for wins this season set at 8.5. Arizona is +600 to win the NFC West in 2021, and are listed at +3900 to win Super Bowl 56.
