The Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders will face off in Week 5 of the 2023 NFL season on Thursday Night Football. Meanwhile, the Bears are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Denver Broncos. On the other hand, the Commanders are coming off a win over the Houston Texans.

Bears Look for First Win

The Bears are still looking for their first win of the season. Yet, they have come close in a few games. However, they have been unable to get over the hump. In their Week 4 loss to the Broncos, the Bears blew a 21-point lead in the third quarter. Bear’s quarterback Justin Fields had a solid first half, but he committed two costly turnovers in the second half. All in all, this helped the Broncos come back and win.

The Bears are hoping that they can finally get their first win of the season against the Commanders. All in all, they know that it will be a challenge, but they believe that they have the talent to win.

Commanders Coming Off Win

The Commanders are coming off a win over the Houston Texans. They were not very impressive in that game, but in the end, they were able to get the job done. Commander’s quarterback Carson Wentz had a decent game, but he still made some mistakes. The Commanders’ running game was also effective, as they rushed for over 150 yards.

The Commanders are hoping that they can build on their win over the Texans and get another win against the Bears. They know that the Bears are a good team, but they believe that they can win if they play their best game.
