Bears vs Seahawks 27-11 and Broncos vs Bills 45-15 Recap

NFL Preseason Week 2 Recap

We had several impressive games during the second week of preseason football in the NFL. Today, we’re going to take a look at a few games that stuck out to us, along with a few players. We’ll also look at a few teams that failed to cover the spread during Week 2.

Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks (27-11 Bears)

The Chicago Bears increased their preseason record to 2-0 after a huge win over the Seattle Seahawks. Beating Seattle 27-11 took a ton of offense, but their defense was the most impressive.

Last week, they shut down the Kansas City Chiefs, and now they’ve done it again. Time of possession played a huge factor as the Bears held the ball for 33:01 minutes.

The Seattle Seahawks had a lot of yards as an offense, putting up 324. However, turnovers were their downfall, along with the inability to put up points. Jacob Eason, their backup quarterback, had a great game.

He went 17 for 35 throwing 141 yards in the second week of the preseason. The problem is, they didn’t score any points until the second half of the game.

After Denver’s first week of the preseason went so well, we expected another big game from them. However, in Week 2 of the preseason, they were blown away by the Buffalo Bills.

Brett Rypien did his best at the QB spot, going 22-26 with 191 yards and a touchdown. The problem is, the Broncos’ defense gave up 510 yards in this game and 32 first downs.

The Buffalo Bills’ offense is back in action as they beat the Denver Broncos 42-15. Leading the charge was Case Keenum, the backup quarterback.

Keenum threw for 192 yards and a touchdown, and starting Bills QB Josh Allen got some action too. They had 208 yards rushing on the day and proved that their offense is dangerous this season.
