NFL Week 17 Recap

Week 17 was a wild one for bettors. A lot of favorites won but were unable to cover from a betting perspective. When it comes to storylines, it was also the week where we saw Ben Roethlisberger play his final game at Heinz Field.

Week 18, the final slate of the regular season, is going to be epic. The playoff picture is far from set in the AFC. Yet, we need to recap Week 17 to begin our preparation. Here are the important things to know from Week 17.

Bengals Beat the Chiefs and Wins the Division

The Bengals beat the Chiefs on Sunday to win the AFC North. Ja’Marr Chase was unstoppable with 266 yards and three touchdowns. Joe Burrow was also fantastic completing 30 passes for 446 yards and four touchdowns.

The Chiefs had no answer for the Bengals‘ passing game. This helped Cincinnati cover +5 with ease and cash +188 on the money line. This is what a winning Bengals Franchise looks like.  Lets see if they can keep it up into the playoffs.

Jets Cover Against Buccaneers

The story of the Buccaneers game was Antonio Brown leaving the field mid-game. This will likely be the final time Brown plays in the NFL. After he left MetLife Stadium, he was seen taking an Uber home.

Brown also was sitting courtside at the Nets game on Monday. Tom Brady had a game-winning drive to lead the team to a 28-24 victory. However, New York Jets covered their +13 point spread. We will see if the Buccaneers will keep on sneaking by through the playoffs.  This is not the same Super Bowl team from last year.  Lets see who takes them out this year.
