Milwaukee Bucks Travel to Cleveland to Face the Cavaliers
Although it isn’t the final game of the night, it could be one of the most entertaining. The Milwaukee Bucks, ranking third in the Eastern Conference, head to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers.
Milwaukee could rest a few players, or they could try to make a jump past the Celtics for better positioning. We’ll have to wait and see who’s in when the lineups come out on Sunday.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are likely to play all of their starters in this game. Cleveland sits at the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference, following closely behind the Bulls. If Cleveland can get a win here, they could move up a few spots.
Cleveland has taken a few losses lately; ending the season with a win could be exactly what they need. So, who should you take at the sportsbook?
Game Preview: Milwaukee Bucks at Cleveland Cavaliers April 10
In a recent win against the Chicago Bulls, we saw the Bucks showcase their offense and defense. The Bucks came out quickly and ended up scoring 127 points against the Bulls. When the final buzzer sounded, the Bucks only gave up 106 points.
This season, Milwaukee has been incredible on offense, but it was nice to see a strong defense. They’ll need it against Cleveland.
What the Cavaliers do best is defense, but they can score a lot of points too. They recently put up 119 points against the New York Knicks, one of the best defenses in the NBA.
The Cavaliers, on average, allow just 105.22 points per game, ranking fourth in the NBA. After suffering a few losses recently, the Cavaliers can get some momentum as they head into the NBA playoffs.
Milwaukee Bucks at Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Prediction
The Bucks have been fairly lackluster against the spread this season. In their last game against the Cavaliers, they lost by quite a large margin. Milwaukee was also on the road in that game but was favored by four points.
The Cavaliers’ defense was the superstar in that game, holding the Bucks to just 99 points. By the end of the game, the Cavaliers beat the Bucks, 115-99.
If Milwaukee decides to rest a few players, we could see this outcome happening again. The Cavaliers’ defense is among the best in the NBA and is 24-16 at home this season.
We don’t see the Cavaliers resting anyone either since they have the chance to improve their standings. Because of this, we’ll take Cleveland to win this game at home and cover the spread.
As far as the total goes in this game, there are a few things to remember. One, the Cavaliers are 35-43-2 against the total this year.
The second is that in the last three meetings between these two, the total has gone under twice. If the total is set anywhere near 220.5 and above, take the under.
