Milwaukee Bucks Travel To Minnesota to Face the Timberwolves
The Milwaukee Bucks are slowly making their way to the top of the Eastern Conference. Currently, they’re only a few games behind the Miami Heat for the No.1 spot. If they get a win over the Timberwolves here, it’ll put them one step closer to the top.
However, they aren’t facing a team that they can get a win over easily. The Timberwolves have been very impressive lately.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are among the NBA’s best offenses. Against the Milwaukee Bucks, they’ll need all the offense they can get. Recently, they’ve claimed some huge wins, one of which being over the stingy defense of the Miami Heat.
If they can bring that intensity to this game, the Timberwolves will be in good shape to win. So, who should you place a wager on?
Game Preview: Milwaukee Bucks at Minnesota Timberwolves March 19th
Each of these teams is fighting for positioning in their respective conferences. The Bucks are only a few games away from taking the Eastern Conference from the Heat. Their offense ranks third in the NBA, averaging 114.53 points per game.
However, this game is less about the Bucks offense and more about their defensive ability. In that regard, they rank 16th in the entire league.
Minnesota will look to exploit Milwaukee’s defense with their second-best in the NBA offense. After a sluggish start to the year, Minnesota has kicked into high gear and now is averaging 114.58 points per game.
With an offense this effective, they’ve been able to take down teams such as the Miami Heat. They also beat the Milwaukee Bucks in their last game against them.
Milwaukee Bucks at Minnesota Timberwolves Betting Prediction
When these two last faced each other, it was in late October of 2021. The Timberwolves came in as six-point underdogs and won the game, 113-108. Although the Timberwolves won that game, their history against the Bucks isn’t a bright one.
In their last ten meetings, the Timberwolves are 2-8 against the Bucks. Their record against the spread in those ten is 4-6.
Depending on how much they’re favored by, the Bucks could be the best pick in this one. On the road, the Bucks are 18-15 against the spread. This is much better than they perform at home against the spread.
However, if the Timberwolves come in as six-point underdogs again, we’d take the Timberwolves. Minnesota has been red hot lately, and we doubt they’ll cool down.
In terms of the total, over the last three meetings between these two, the total has gone over. Neither of these teams has an incredible defense, both rank in the bottom half of the NBA.
In a recent game against the Spurs, the Timberwolves allowed San Antonio to score 139 points. They would’ve lost the game had they not scored 149 themselves.
