NFL Divisional Round Outlook; Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022 5:30pm CST
NFL Wild Card Weekend was epic. There were six games, including a primetime matchup on a Monday night. The one thing to note from Wild Card Weekend was that five of six favorites covered and won outright.
Will this be the case during the divisional round? Only time will tell. However, it’s time to start preparing for the games to win money. Here is your NFL divisional round outlook!
Buffalo Bills Travels to Kansas City to Face the Chiefs
The Bills posted a tremendous performance against the Patriots last week. On each of their seven possessions, they scored a touchdown. The Bills also provided versatility in their attack. Allen was flawless against one of the NFL’s better defenses, throwing for 308 yards and 5 TDs on just 25 attempts.
He was not the only player to flourish, however. Devin Singletary rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries, and even more surprisingly, Stefon Diggs had just 3 receptions for 60 yards.
The Chiefs’ offense wasn’t quite as potent as the Bills’. On their first five drives, they failed to score, intercepting and fumbling the ball away for a TD. After that, Kansas City Chiefs scored on six consecutive possessions. They only punted on their last drive of the game after T.J. Watt scored a touchdown.
Bills vs Chiefs Betting Odds
The Buffalo Bills have their chance at redemption. They lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game last season, and they have a chance to avenge this loss. Buffalo blew out New England in the Wild Card Game.
The Chiefs also dominated the Steelers, so both teams should be rested on Sunday night. Buffalo is currently +2.5 and +120 on the money line. 56% of bettors are taking this side of the line.
The total is set at 55, and 70% of bettors are taking the over. If you like Kansas City SU, their money line is -135.
