Cavaliers vs Bulls and Pacers vs Warriors Predictions

NBA Look Ahead for Wednesday, Jan 19 and Thursday Jan 20, 2022

More NBA action is on the way as the season ramps towards the All-Star break. Although we aren’t quite there yet, playoff positioning is beginning to take shape.

This week, we have five entertaining games that we’re going to preview for you. Each of these games features some of the best teams from their respective conferences. We’ll start with a visit to the Chicago Bulls.

There is nearly a four-way tie in the Eastern Conference, but the Bulls remain at the No.1 spot. This week, they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers, who might be some stiff competition.

From there, we’ll cover the Pacers at the Warriors

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls, Wed Jan 19, 2022; 7:00pm CT

The Cleveland Cavaliers currently rank at the No.6 spot in the Eastern Conference. Although they might not look like much, they’re actually a very strong team. Interestingly enough, they’re only 2.5-games behind the Chicago Bulls.

Where the Cavaliers primarily excel is on defense, where they rank No.2 in the NBA. They’ll need a strong defensive showing against Chicago.

The Bulls’ offense is what’s propelled them to the top of the Eastern Conference. However, as of today, the Chicago Bulls are on a three-game losing streak.

Part of this is because Zach Lavine has been out; the other is that they haven’t finished games well. With more players potentially out for the Bulls on Wednesday, we’ll take the Cavaliers to cover the spread here.

indiana pacers vs golden state warriors betting predictions nba oddsIndiana Pacers at Golden State Warriors, Thurs Jan 20, 2022; 9:00pm CT

The Indiana Pacers are being tasked with stopping one of the best offenses in the NBA. They’ll head out to Golden State, expecting to stop Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. We can guarantee the spread will be pretty large here.

The Pacers are currently 15-28 and have the 20th ranked offense in the NBA. Taking on Golden State at home will be a tough task for Indiana.

The Warriors are currently No.2 in the Western Conference with a 31-11 record. Perhaps more impressive is their record at the sportsbook of 24-16-2.

Now that they have Klay Thompson back in the lineup, the Warriors are even more lethal. Don’t let the large spread deter you from taking the Warriors here. They’ve gone 14-6-1 ATS at home through this season.
