The Chargers won and covered as underdogs against the Kansas City Chiefs inside Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. It was a game that we will likely see again in the playoffs.
The Chiefs lost the game because of the turnover margin. Former MVP Patrick Mahomes threw two interceptions in the 30-24 loss to Justin Herbert’s squad.
The Chiefs entered the game as seven-point favorites with a massive -320 money line. The consensus coming into the game was that the Chargers were going to play Kansas City tough, but Mahomes would prevail.
The Chiefs are now 1-2 following three weeks of play, and turnovers have been their Achilles heel. Kansas City outplayed Los Angeles in every facet of the game, but Mahomes’ inefficiency ultimately allowed the Chargers to move to 2-1.
