Cincinnati Bengals Travels to Nashville to Face the Tennessee Titans

The Bengals and Titans didn’t meet this year, but the Bengals prevailed 31-20 in Nashville in 2020. Burrow threw for two touchdowns and 249 passing yards in the victory. They controlled the ball for 35:57, converting one Tennessee miscue into a turnover.

The Titans have a 39-35-1 series record against the Bengals going back to 1968, including one playoff game. The Cincinnati Bengals shutdown the Houston Oilers 41-14 in 1991.

Derrick Henry Makes his Return

The Tennessee Titans’ Derrick Henry was the greatest running back in the league through the first eight weeks. He ran for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns on 219 carries over eight games. He also had 18 catches for 154 yards on 20 targets during this stretch.

With Henry in the lineup, the Titans were playing at an exceptional level. They went 6-2 in their first eight games, including victories over the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. Despite Tennessee’s success following to Henry’s injury, it was obvious that their offense had evolved significantly.

Bengals vs Titans Betting Odds

The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off a huge win over the Las Vegas Raiders. They snuck by Las Vegas, but it’s going to give Joe Burrow’s squad a huge boost of confidence. This was the team’s first playoff win since the 1991 season.

The Titans are coming off a bye week, and this is their saving grace on Saturday. Derrick Henry will return to the action, which is exciting for the team. Nevertheless, the Bengals still seem like the hotter team at this point in the season.

The Titans are -3.5 heading into this matchup, and 54% of bettors like this side of the line. Tennessee is 10-7 ATS compared to the Bengals at 11-7. The total is set at 47 points, and 63% of bettors are taking the over.
