Clippers at Cavaliers Betting Preview and Predictions

Los Angeles Clippers Travel to Cleveland to Face the Cavaliers

Reggie Jackson has become a beacon of hope for the L.A. Clippers. Over the last few weeks, he’s led the team to success and will look to do so again today.

One of their most recent games was against the Washington Wizards, a game they won 115-109. Jackson scored 31 points in that game and had seven assists in 39 minutes. They’ll need him again on Monday.

The Cavaliers have had a tough couple of games leading up to their game against L.A. Although they beat the Raptors and the Pacers, before that, they took three straight losses. These losses kicked them out of their No.4 spot in the Eastern Conference.

Now, they sit at the No.6 position and will have to climb their way back up. This game against the Clippers would be a big help.

Game Preview: Los Angeles Clippers at Cleveland Cavaliers March 14th

The Los Angeles Clippers rank as one of the worst offenses in the NBA. However, they’ve found a way to win games with averaging just 106.94 points per game.

Our biggest concern is how they’ll fare against the No.1 ranked defense in the NBA. Sure, Reggie Jackson has played incredibly well, but can he get past Darius Garland. If not, the Cavaliers should win this one.

Unfortunately for the Cavaliers, Caris LeVert is still ruled out. Still, Darius Garland has been providing more than enough offense for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In one of their most recent games against the Pacers, Garland racked up 41 points along with 13 assists. We expect that he’ll have another strong night against the Clippers, who have had some defensive troubles.

Los Angeles Clippers at Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Prediction

The Clippers haven’t played the Cleveland Cavaliers since October 27th, 2021. It’s been quite a long time since these two have faced, but the Clippers are 8-2 in their last ten.

However, in the game in October, the Cavaliers came out on top, 92-79. This was before L.A. was dealing with all of the injuries they’re suffering now. With that being said, we think Cleveland is the clear pick.

At the time of writing, the Cavaliers have gone 38-25-2 against the spread. Not only that, they have an ATS home record of 19-12.

With all of the injuries the Clippers have suffered from and Cleveland’s defense, we think the Cavaliers should cover. It also helps that Darius Garland has put up a lot of points in recent games, including his 41-point night.

In terms of betting on the total, the Cavaliers’ defense prevents teams from scoring points. This season, the Cavaliers’ record against the total is 25-38-2. The Kings have also gone under the total more often than over.

We’ll take the under in this one and the Cavaliers to cover the spread.
