NFL Preseason Week 2 Betting Outlook

We’re heading into the second week of the NFL Preseason, giving us more games to bet on. Today, we’re going to take a look at each of them and give you the best picks in our opinion. Let’s go over each matchup and how you should bet on it.

Washington Commanders vs. Kansas City Chiefs – August 20, 2022 3:00pm CST

Both of these teams started their preseason off with a loss. The Commanders, however, were able to put up 21 points against their opponent. The Chiefs had a tough time scoring without their starters in, and we expect the same in Week 2.

Kansas City relies on Patrick Mahomes to do most of the heavy lifting. With Mahomes sidelined, the offense isn’t nearly as potent.

This has less to do with the Chiefs as a team and more to do with Mahomes being out. We’ll take the Washington Commanders on the road in this one.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Tennessee Titans – August 20, 2022 6:00pm CST

Similar to the teams above, each of these teams suffered a loss to start the preseason. The Buccaneers lost 26-24 to the Miami Dolphins, while the Tennessee Titans lost 23-10 to the Baltimore Ravens. 

The lack of offense from the Titans is why we’ll take the Buccaneers to win this game. Their offense focuses too much on Derrick Henry, who is obviously sidelined. Take the Buccaneers on the road over Tennessee.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins – August 20, 2022 6:00pm CST

With the Las Vegas Raiders coming off a 26-20 win, morale is pretty high. They were able to see how their offensive scheme can work against a strong defensive unit. This game between them and the Miami Dolphins, however, could be a shootout.

The Miami Dolphins scored 26 points against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1. As they fine-tune the offense, we think the Dolphins will come out of this one as the winner. They could end up leaving their starters in for a bit longer as well.
