NFL Preseason Week 3 Betting Outlook

We’ve got one more week of preseason betting as the NFL Preseason comes to a close. Today we’re going to take a look at each of the games and make our picks for each one.

Washington Commanders vs. Baltimore Ravens – August 27, 2022 7:00pm CST

With an 0-2 record in the preseason, the Washington Commanders prepare to face the Ravens. We should get a look at Carson Wentz, the expected starter for the team. Last week, the Commanders suffered a 24-14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Baltimore Ravens are 2-0 after a big win over the Arizona Cardinals. Beating Arizona 24-17, it’s clear that the Ravens have depth in their roster. We’ll go with the Ravens at home over the Commanders.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Indianapolis Colts – August 27, 2022 7:30pm CST

The head coach of the Buccaneers, Todd Bowles, hasn’t stated whether Tom Brady will play in this one. If he doesn’t, we expect to see more from Kyle Trask, who’s had a strong preseason. The Buccaneers are currently 0-2, but the Colts are a better matchup for them.

With a record of 0-2 as well, the biggest problem for the Colts is defense. Through the preseason, this team has allowed 27 points per game. We’ll go with Trask and the Buccaneers in this one.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Denver Broncos – August 27, 2022 9:00pm CST

This preseason has essentially been a disaster for the Minnesota Vikings. They had to trade for a backup quarterback since both of their options aren’t working out. With Nick Mullens under center, the Vikings actually have a chance at winning this game.

The Denver Broncos are coming off of a 42-15 blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills. They allowed over 500 yards of total offense, essentially handing the game to Buffalo. We’ll take Minnesota because at least their defense has held up.
