Coyotes at Bruins Betting Preview and Predictions

Arizona Coyotes Travel to Boston to Face the Bruins

The Arizona Coyotes will head to the TD Garden on Saturday evening to take on the Boston Bruins in a non-conference matchup. This will be the second and final regular-season game between Arizona and Boston as they also played on January 28, with the Boston Bruins picking up a 2-1 road win.

The Coyotes are currently last in the Central Division (16-35-4, 36 points) and are on a tiny winning streak, while the Bruins are fourth in the Atlantic Division (34-18-5, 73 points) heading into this matchup.

These teams have a good amount of scoring threats, so it will be a great and entertaining matchup. Let’s look into the Coyotes and the Bruins to determine where we should be betting on in this game.

Game Preview: Arizona Coyotes at Boston Bruins March 12

These teams are playing decently well on the offensive side of the ice this season as Arizona is scoring 2.38 goals on just 26.1 shot attempts while Boston is averaging three goals on 35.1 shots thus far.

The Coyotes are being led by right winger Clayton Keller as he has posted 51 points (23 goals, 28 assists) with five points scored in his last two games on the ice. On the Bruins’ side of things, right winger David Pastrnak is seventh in the sport with goals as he is posting 57 points (31 goals, 26 assists) with six points in their previous five games.

Arizona’s goalie Karel Vejmelka has been struggling a lot this season as he is just 8-21-1 with 3.42 goals allowed and a 90.3 save percentage so far, while Boston’s Linus Ullmark is not doing great himself with a 17-9-2 record while saving 90.7 percent of shots and 2.81 goals given up per game.

As a team, the Coyotes are giving up 3.58 goals on 34.9 shot attempts this season, while the Bruins are allowing 2.68 goals on 29.1 shots this season.

Arizona Coyotes at Boston Bruins Betting Prediction

Vejmelka has been awful inside of the net in a large portion of the season and is just 7-15-3 on the road as a team, so they are not doing well right now. The combination of David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand are the more formidable duo and are the two best offensive players in this game.

Looking at the defensive side of the ice, Arizona is giving up 3.7 goals in their previous three games while Boston is allowing 2.6 goals in their last five games. The Coyotes are sitting at 27-28 against the spread this season, while the Bruins are just 22-35 against the spread.

However, the Bruins are the better team so go with the Boston Bruins to cover the puck line at home against an inferior opponent.
