Week 11 Best Bets for CYB College Football

I know what you’re thinking. “This guy is terrible at college football. When is he just going to give up?” Well my mama didn’t raise a quitter. We only have three more weeks left in this wild college football season. Giving up now would just be irresponsible. We’re hitting the home stretch hard. Let’s ride.

Virginia Tech -11 vs. Duke

This is a textbook bounceback spot for Tech. They were shut down last week against Boston College but they have shown this season they can be a good team. Duke is coming off a game where they over-performed against a good Pitt team. They lost 54-29 but the 29 points is the most they have scored against an FBS team this season besides Kansas. And let’s be honest, Kansas is barely an FBS team. I’ll be shocked if they can string together two solid offensive performances in a row. Unfortunately for them, the defense is not much better. They have allowed every ACC opponent to score at least 30 points this year. The Hokies have hit a skid lately so they need this game to get back on track. It also doesn’t hurt that Duke has failed to cover the spread in their last seven games on the road. I like David Cutcliffe but his Blue Devils are terrible. Give me the Hokies to take care of business at home.

Rutgers +7 vs. Indiana

Indiana being a seven point favorite in a conference matchup is stunning to me. They have been nothing but a disappointment this year. They rank near the bottom of the country in scoring offense (117) and defense (105). Rutgers certainly is not a great team, but they are not a touchdown worse than Indiana. The Scarlet Knights are not afraid to go into another team’s house and cause trouble. Two of their four wins have come on the road this season. They are also 8-1 ATS in their last nine games. The Hoosiers have only put up seven points in two of their last three games. Rutgers may very well win this game, but I’m taking the points just in case.

Washington State +14 vs. Oregon

We’ve got ourselves a little PAC 12 after dark action to bring our locks home. Oregon is currently sitting at number three in the eyes of the playoff committee and they will certainly need some style points if they want to stay there. However, I don’t see them getting those style points here. Washington State has been very kind to us degenerates lately, going 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games. Wazzu has also given their conference foe fits over the last decade. They are 9-1 in the last 10 games against Oregon. The Ducks have also struggled to cover in Eugene, failing to cover in their last six at home. Oregon is definitely the better squad here, but Washington State finds ways to hang around in games. They have not lost by multiple scores since week three. Given that and their recent track record in this matchup, give me the Cougs to cover the two-touchdown spread.

The Rest of the Bunch:

SMU-UCF O61
ECU +5.5 vs. Memphis
Miami -2.5 vs. Florida St
Texas A&M -2.5 vs. Ole Miss
Utah St. +4.5 vs. San Jose St.

I promise I will be better and it starts this weekend. There is no way we don’t go 9-0 Saturday. No-loss November officially starts now. Pray for your bookie.
