Crush Your Bookie Chris Walker Bets for Week 15 NFL
You know I’m not one to brag, but I have been seeing the NFL board very clearly lately. We’ve won three weeks in a row and are going for four this week. COVID is running wild in the NFL right now so these lines may change if more cases come to light. But as of now, these are all winners. Let me make you some money. Let’s ride,
Buffalo Bills -11 vs. Carolina Panthers
Both these teams are actually in similar positions as they are both on losing streaks that could end their season. The only difference is the Bills have talent. They showed life for the first time in weeks when they mounted a ferocious comeback against Tampa last week that fell just short. Their season is essentially on the line this week and they know they have to make a statement if they hope to be taken seriously as a playoff contender. I think my new strategy for the season will be betting against the Panthers every week. While Buffalo Bills still has something to play for, Carolina’s season is over. They are counting down the days until the end of the year. McCaffery is done for the year and Cam has proven all the doubters 100% right. The defense isn’t much better, either. They just let the Falcons offense hang 29 on them last week (no disrespect to the Falcons. More on them later). The Bills love to beat up on bad teams. They are 6-1-1 ATS against teams with a losing record. Buffalo needs a big win and they will get one here. This one could get ugly fast.
Cincinnati Bengals +3 vs. Denver Broncos
The Jekyll and Hyde Bengals look to end their latest skid this week when they visit Mile High Stadium. Cincinnati has lost back-to-back games and they really cannot afford to lose a third if they want to stay alive in the race for the AFC North crown. In those two losses, they have shown moments of being a great team. They erased a 20-6 fourth quarter deficit last week, only to get beat in OT. They also started a comeback two weeks ago against the Chargers until a fumble stalled all momentum. The Broncos still have an outside chance at the playoffs, but I think they’re still a couple years away from being taken seriously. The defense is good but the offense still needs some more pieces before they can consistently beat good teams. Aside from two surprising wins against LA and Dallas, they have only beaten bad squads. This game will be close but I think the playmaking ability of the Cincinnati Bengals offense will be the difference in this game. That will allow them to control the time of possession, which is something Denver needs in order to win. In all but one of their wins, they have had a significant advantage in time of possession. Cincy knows they need this game to keep their season alive. I’m taking the Bengals to cover, and possibly win, on the road.
Atlanta Falcons +9.5 vs. San Francisco 49ers
The Dirty Birds Atlanta Falcons will make a cross-country flight this week to the Golden State, as they look to put the final nail in the Niners season. I know the Falcons aren’t exactly worldbeaters, but the 49ers shouldn’t be 9.5 favorites against any NFL team with a pulse. Especially at home, where they have struggled, against one of the league’s best road teams. For some reason Atlanta has played far better away from home this year with five of their six wins coming on the road. San Fran, on the other hand, has struggled in their own barn for some time. They have only managed two wins in their last 10 games at Levi Stadium. Both teams rely heavily on the running game and neither have a particuarly great rushing defense. Both teams allow over 100 rush yards per game. With that in mind, it comes down to who do you trust more: Jimmy Gorrapolo or Matt Ryan. I’ll stick with Matty Ice on this one. I think oddsmakers are showing too much doubt in an Atlanta team that really isn’t that bad. Something about the Niners being this big a favorite just seems off to me. Maybe because they are only 12-23-1 ATS under Shanahan as a favorite. San Francisco should win this game, but I like Atlanta to keep it within the number.
The Rest of the Bunch:
New England Patriots +3 vs. Indianapolis Colts Dallas Cowboys -10 vs. NY Giants New Orleans Saints +10.5 vs. TB Buccaneers Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings O44
We’re heating up just in time for the home stretch of the season. Your bookie needs some money for Christmas but he sure as hell won’t get it from us. These are winners, boys and girls.Â
