CYB Week 6 | Best Bets Games Georgia – Oregon State – UTSA

Georgia -15 Bet, Oregon State O59.5 Bet, and UTSA +3 Bet are my Locks this Week

The gambling gods have not been kind to us in college football this season, and last week they were just toying with us. After a good start to the weekend (5-2-1), we dropped our last three of the night to finish the day 5-5-1. But we’re back with another three locks and eight more picks for a total of 11 winners. I am in love with this card. Let’s ride.

Georgia -15 vs. Auburn

I’m pretty surprised this line isn’t higher than it is. Auburn is getting a lot of respect for a team as shaky as they are. Yes, the Tigers are a 4-1 team, but they have not always looked like one this season. They needed a last second touchdown (and help from the refs) to beat Georgia State at home, and they didn’t exactly play top-notch football against LSU either. QB Bo Nix is a week removed from his best game of the year, but he’s also two weeks removed from almost losing his job. I have a hard time seeing him keeping it close against a Georgia team that has been steamrolling everyone in their path. They have yet to give up two touchdowns in one game this season, and I don’t see it changing here. The Bulldogs are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 games against Auburn. The Tigers struggle to cover when playing as a dog. They have only covered the spread once in the last six games as an underdog. Vegas probably thinks Georgia is prime for a letdown spot, but I just don’t see how they don’t dominate this game.

Oregon State vs. Washington State O59.5

Pac-12 football in the daytime just feels weird, but this one is too good to pass up. The over has hit eight games in a row in this matchup and is 9-1 in the last 10. The total has also gone over seven of the last eight times on Wazzu’s home turf. Neither team is great on the defensive side of the ball. They both rank outside the top 50, so points shouldn’t be hard to come by in this one. Oregon State has a top-30 offense so they will probably put up most of the points here, but their lackluster defense should allow the Cougars to score their fair share, too. These teams love to put points on the board against each other, and that should be no different in this one.

UTSA +3.5 vs. Western Kentucky

The Roadrunners of Texas-San Antonio are one of the surprises of the season, so far. A few years ago, they were one of the worst teams in the country. Now they are 5-0 with two big wins over Illinois and Memphis under their belts. They are looking to keep that momentum going as they travel to square off against the Hilltoppers. UTSA is 4-1 ATS this year and 6-1 ATS in their last seven, dating back to last season. Western is a good team, but they are coming off back-to-back tough losses to Big 10 teams. I’m thinking their high powered offense will be a little short on gas for this one. WKU is only 1-3 on the year, and they don’t play great at home. They are a disappointing 5-12-1 ATS in their last 18 games as a home favorite. The Roadrunners could very well win this game outright, but I’m going to play it safe and take the points. Side note: the Roadrunners and the Hilltoppers are two of the best names in college football.

Other bets:

Houston -6 vs. Tulane
Texas +3.5 vs. Oklahoma
Arkansas +6 vs. Ole Miss
Iowa -2 vs. Penn State
East Carolina +10 vs. Central Florida
Air Force -6 vs. Wyoming
South Alabama -3.5 vs. Texas State
Arizona +16 vs. UCLA

These are winners. We’re righting the ship this weekend. What better way to get back at the gambling gods than by going undefeated?
