Here’s an overview of some of the top games in sports being played on April 21st. Today, we’re taking a closer look at five games from MLB, the NBA Playoffs.

Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Guardians – 1:10 PM ET

Both the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians have 6-5 records. Getting the start on the mound for Chicago is Dylan Cease, who has a record of 2-0. His start to the season has been impressive, throwing 16 strikeouts in 10 innings pitched.

Cease will take on the batters of the Guardians, who have a team batting average of .272. With some of the best batting in Major League Baseball, the White Sox could have a tough outing. Still, we’ll take the White Sox to win this game on the road -140.

Minnesota Twins at Kansas City Royals – 2:10 PM ET

The 4-8 Minnesota Twins have lost four of their last five games. They’ve already dropped two games in this series against the Kansas City Royals. Injuries could be playing a big part in their losses, but batting seems to be the main problem.

With a team batting average of .195, the Twins are having a tough time securing hits. On the mound for the Twins today is Joe Ryan, who is 1-1 this season. The Royals will start Zack Greinke, who has thrown just one strikeout in 11 innings pitched. Although the Twins have struggled lately, we’ll take them at -130 tonight.

Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves – 7:30 PM ET

With the series tied between the Grizzlies and Timberwolves at 1-1, Game 3 begins. This time, the Grizzlies, and their high-scoring offense will travel to Minnesota. In the previous game, the Grizzlies easily overwhelmed Minnesota and won the game 124-96.

For the Timberwolves to get back into this game, they’ll need a better effort from Karl-Anthony Towns. Game 2 saw the Timberwolves get bogged down early and couldn’t find a way to rally back. Unfortunately, we expect to see the same from the Timberwolves tonight.

Dallas Mavericks at Utah Jazz – 9:00 PM ET

The Mavericks were able to steal a win from the Jazz in Game 2. This brings the series to a 1-1 tie as the Mavericks head to Utah to start Game 3. The main question in this game is the status of Luka Doncic. Currently, he’s listed as “day-to-day” and could make a return in a limited capacity today.

The Utah Jazz comes into this game as seven-point favorites after losing 110-104. However, using Game 1 as a guide, you can see the Jazz likely won’t cover the spread. The Mavericks’ defense has found a way to limit the effectiveness of the Jazz’s offense. Take the Mavericks +7 in tonight’s game.

Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets – 10:00 PM ET

In our final game of the night, the Golden State Warriors will face the Denver Nuggets. The Warriors lead this series 2-0 and that’s with Stephen Curry on limited minutes. Jordan Poole has been a leader for the Warriors in each of these games.

Through the first two games of this series, the Warriors have won by 16 points or more. Even with this dominance, the Warriors are only two-point favorites tonight. This is great news for bettors though as you won’t have to worry about a large spread. Take the Warriors to win this one and go up 3-0 in the series.
