Indiana Pacers Travel to Toronto to Battle the Raptors on March 26

The Indiana Pacers will come into this game as relatively heavy underdogs. They’ve already been eliminated from playoff contention, but a win would boost morale. In order to come away with a win here, they have to take down Pascal Siakam and the Raptors. They’ve been able to do it before, so could the Pacers repeat their performance from November 2021?

The Toronto Raptors could definitely use a win here after losing a few games. They still have the seventh-place spot in the conference but need a win to keep ahold of it. The last time they faced the Pacers, the game didn’t go in their favor. It’s been a long time since that date, though, and the Raptors are a much better team. The Toronto Raptors offense averages fewer points per game than the Indiana Pacers (108.79). The difference here is the Raptors have a top ten defense in the NBA, allowing 107.25  points per game. Because of their defense, they’ve been able to win some key games, putting them in the No.7 spot. However, keep in mind they’ve had some struggles on defense in recent games.

These two teams faced each other in November of 2021, and the Pacers were favored by five points. Indiana was also at home in this game and still had Domantas Sabonis on the roster. They easily beat the Raptors, 114-97, covering the spread for the game as well. In this game, the Raptors will be favored by around five points, and they’ll get to play at home instead.

Aside from the game they lost in November, the Raptors have a strong record against the Pacers. Over their last three games, the Raptors are 2-1 against the Pacers, with a 2-1 ATS record. Since the spread shouldn’t be too large, the Raptors should be able to cover this one. Toronto was able to get a 93-88 win over the 76ers, so they should cover against the Pacers.

In terms of the total, we’d recommend betting on the under in this game. The Pacers have a pretty good offense, but it’ll have trouble against Toronto’s defense. Expect the final score of this game to be pretty low, going well under the total.
