NCAA Basketball Look Ahead; Tuesday, Jan. 11 7:00pm CST

The college basketball season is in full swing, and conference play is now fully underway. There have been a lot of surprises over the last few weeks, and that isn’t going to change anytime soon. There have been some massive upsets as we have now gotten into the season, and the week ahead is setting up to where we could see more.

Below, we will look at Iowa State Cyclones and Kansas Jayhawks.

Iowa State Cyclones will Travel to Kansas to Face the Jayhawks

Tuesday night will give us another great ranked matchup as the Iowa State Cyclones travel to take on the Kansas Jayhawks. The Cyclones are 13-1 on the year and are #11 in the country.

The Jayhawks are #6 in the nation and are 12-1 on the season. Iowa State won their last game after falling to Baylor on January 1st. Kansas is on an eight-game winning streak and looks to be in a great spot to contend for a title this year.

Iowa State is scoring 71.4 points a game this year and are allowing just 56.9 points a game. Kansas is scoring 84.3 points a game while allowing 66.6 points a game.

This will be a terrific matchup between two teams that play different styles of basketball. Look for Kansas to have the edge in what will be a low-scoring affair. This game will determine weather or not if Kansas should stay in the Top 10 or not. Cyclones will be a tough match for the Jayhawks and Kansas shouldn’t have a easy game.
