There are three weeks remaining in the NFL regular season. The season has flown by, but we still have some time to capitalize on betting before the playoffs arise. Week 16 has some tremendous betting opportunities, so let’s start preparing.

Jacksonville Jaguars Head on the Road to Play Zack Wilson and the New York Jets

Week 16 of the NFL season features a matchup between two teams that are not only bad, but also have rookie quarterbacks under center. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence will head on the road to play Zach Wilson and the New York Jets.

Many eyes will be on this game as it’s one of just four matchups in NFL history where both starting quarterbacks were drafted with top-10 picks in their respective draft classes. And while many may want to see Lawrence take down his fellow former college teammate, there is more than jealously at stake for these two franchises — they’re playing for favorable draft position

Jaguars vs Jets Predictions

The Jacksonville Jaguars were favorites last week against the Texans and were blown off the field. This matchup defines terrible teams with Jacksonville and the New York Jets. The Jets are -2.5 at home, and 90% of bettors like this side of the line.

I actually like New York in this game, as the Jaguars’ offense has been so bad this season that the Jets’ struggling defense may actually be able to get some stops. Wilson and Lawrence have both left a lot to be desired as rookies, but Wilson has looked better over his past three games, totaling four total touchdowns and just one interception. Over that same timeframe, Lawrence has five interceptions as he’s now tied for the league lead in interceptions with 14. Lawrence has been bad, but so too has the Jets’ defense.
