Two Great Matchups on Dec 11 with Missouri vs Kansas and Houston vs Alabama
The NCAA men’s college basketball season has been very fun this season. A few teams have broken away from the pack, and a couple of teams have fallen back into the pack. As it looks right now, there is a clear-cut top team in the country, and everyone else has struggled at times this year. This upcoming week starts conference play for most of the conferences, and it is now time for their preparation to mean something over the past few months. If conference play is anything like the non-conference play was, we will see a lot of shocking upsets.
December 11th: Missouri Tigers at Kansas Jayhawks
On Saturday, the Missouri Tigers face off with the Kansas Jayhawks as they start a six-game series. Missouri has struggled so far this year and sits at 4-4 on the year so far. Kansas is ranked #8 and are 5-1, with their lone loss coming on a buzzer-beater against Dayton. Ochai Agbaji leads Kansas with 22.5 points a game, while Kobe Brown leads Missouri scoring 15.3 points per game. I would lean Kansas here pretty heavily as they should route Missouri.
December 11th: Houston Cougars at Alabama Crimson Tide
A matchup between the #15 Houston Cougars and the #16 Alabama Crimson Tide will give us a great game on Saturday. Both teams are 6-1 on the season, with Houston’s loss coming to Wisconsin and Alabama’s coming to Iona. Houston’s defense has been great so far this season, and there is no reason to think that it will dwindle for this game. I am leaning Houston to win this one on the road.
