As it looks right now, there is a clear-cut top team in the country, and everyone else has struggled at times this year. This upcoming week starts conference play for most of the conferences, and it is now time for their preparation to mean something over the past few months. If conference play is anything like the non-conference play was, we will see a lot of shocking upsets.

The #7 Texas Longhorns vs #25 Seton Hall Pirates

The lone ranked matchup in this article pits the #7 Texas Longhorns up against the #25 Seton Hall Pirates. Texas sits at 5-1 on the year with a loss to Gonzaga, while Seton Hall is 6-1 with a close loss to Ohio State. Both of these teams are outdoing expectations this season and will have a great battle to put on their resume. Both teams are scoring the ball well at over 74 points a game. Texas has played excellent defense thus far this year as they only allow 54 points a game while Seton Hall allows 61 points per game.
