There are three weeks remaining in the NFL regular season. The season has flown by, but we still have some time to capitalize on betting before the playoffs arise. Week 16 has some tremendous betting opportunities, so let’s start preparing.

Chargers Hit by Covid and Zero Running Game Texans

The Chargers are coming off a overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and are now playing for playoffs rather than for the AFC West. They are also dealing with a lot of Roster Changes in Week 16, due to Covid 19.

The COVID outbreak has hit the Chargers team. Nine players have been infected and Joey Bosa cannot play in the game. Others like Corey Linsley and Austin Ekeler may also not be able to play in the game. But there is hope that this will not affect them as much because of looser protocols put into place by the NFL.

On the other side, the Houston Texans have struggled for most of the season, but two of their three wins this year have come against Jacksonville. This is a tough matchup for the Texans with their running game continuing to struggle behind Rex Burkhead, David Johnson, and Royce Freeman.

Chargers vs Texans Week 16 Predictions

The Los Angeles Chargers took the Chiefs down to the wire but lost in overtime. Los Angeles has an easy game to get back on track this week against the Houston Texans. The Texans dominated the Jaguars last week, but this is a bad football team.

I expect Justin Herbert to come out on fire this week and play better than he did against the Chiefs.

Los Angeles is -8, and 73% of bettors like this side of the line. The total is 45.5 points, and 75% of bettors are taking the over on this total.
