The 17th week of the NFL season has arrived. We have no Thursday Night Football but 15 games on Sunday, which is epic. In Week 18, all 16 games will occur on Sunday. There are countless games with playoff implications this week, which should make for some exciting football.

Before you place your bets, you better prepare to win. We have a lot of data to look at this week, so let’s not waste the stats. Here is your Week 17 betting outlook!

Miami Dolphins are Traveling to Nashville to Face the Titans

The Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans will compete in a critical matchup on Sunday. The Dolphins have won seven straight games, and they are alive in the playoff hunt with an 8-7 record.

The Dolphins are 6-1 against the spread in their past seven games (ATS). They were upset in their only loss, a 7-point defeat against a 10.5-point spread versus the Jets. They’ve been perfect ATS during the streak aside from that. The Titans are an underdog of 3 points, which is the third time they’ve been an underdog during their winning run. In the previous two instances, they won and covered.

The Titans have scored 20 points or fewer in three consecutive games, with all three victories resulting in underdogs. They won two of those, blanking the Jaguars and defeating the 49ers by a score of 20-17 last Sunday. We aren’t accustomed to seeing the Titans play low-scoring games. Until Derrick Henry returns for the postseason, though, that is unlikely to change.

The Titans have cooled off a lot as they have won two games in their past five. This is not good heading into the playoffs. Tennessee is favored by 3.5 points, which is making more people lean towards the Dolphins with the hook.

The total is set at 41 points, and based on the latest offensive performances, more bettors are taking the under.
