Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets Preview and Predictions

Milwaukee Bucks Travel to Brooklyn to Face the Nets

The Milwaukee Bucks are the former NBA Champions, but it’s a brand new season. They’re currently fourth in the Eastern Conference, following closely behind the Celtics. As they head to Brooklyn, they’ll have to keep in mind that Kyrie Irving is back to full-time status.

This will make their game against the Nets much tougher. They can’t forget about stopping Kevin Durant either.

The Nets have a few players on the Bucks roster to worry about as well. Of course, Giannis Antetokoumpo is one of the most important ones. The Nets took a recent loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, 132-120.

Defense will be the deciding factor in this game; if the Nets can play strong defense, they can win. If not, and they’re overwhelmed by the Bucks, they’ll likely fall short.

Game Preview: Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets, March 31st

The Bucks rank among the top five teams in the NBA in terms of points per game. With an efficient offense, the Bucks have been able to get big wins over teams like the Bulls.

However, the Nets will be able to match their offense, especially with Irving back in the lineup. The Bucks defense, however, ranks 16th overall in the NBA, allowing 110.97 points per game.

Brooklyn’s defense is among the ten worst in the NBA, allowing 112.04 points per game. As they face the Bucks, they’re going to need to play much better defensively. Durant will be matched up against Antetokounmpo, a tough task for the power forward.

From a physical sense, Giannis is a much more imposing player. This matchup could be a key one on Thursday.

Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets Betting Prediction

These teams have played each other a few times already this season. In their most recent game, the Nets came in as 9.5-point underdogs on the road. It was late February, and the Nets won the game, 126-123.

It went well over the total, which was set at 238, so keep that in mind as well. This time, the Nets will likely be the underdogs again, but not by nearly as many points.

Even with them not being spotted by as many points, we think the Nets will come out on top. The biggest key in this game is Kyrie Irving, who recently put up 60 points against the Orlando Magic.

Look for Irving to have another big game against the Bucks, especially with Jrue Holiday out. Even the Nets bench players have an edge over the bench of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Since the last game went well over the total, the key here is going to be how high it’s set. Last time, it was set at 238; if it’s around that amount, we’ll take the under.

In fact, anything over 235, we would recommend the under. In their last ten meetings, the Bucks and Nets are 2-7-1 against the total.
