More NBA action is on the way as we head towards the All-Star break. Both conferences have been shaken up by injuries, and now we have new leaders.

The Chicago Bulls lost their top spot in the Eastern Conference and gave it to the Brooklyn Nets. Phoenix now has a three-game lead on the Warriors in the Western Conference. Let’s check out the games we’ll cover for this week.

We’ll be starting our look ahead with a matchup between the Timberwolves and the Warriors.

Minnesota Timberwolves Travels to San Francisco to Face the Golden State Warriors

Thursday is a matchup between the Timberwolves and Warriors. This Western Conference matchup could be quite entertaining, especially if Patrick Beverley returns in time.

The area where the Timberwolves will struggle is stopping the Warriors’ elite shooting. The Warriors shoot 35.58% from the three-point line. However, the Timberwolves average more points per game. 

The Warriors are much better at the sportsbook than the Timberwolves are. Perhaps more important is the Warriors’ current 20-4 record at home.

Considering how dominant they are at home, we really like Golden State in this one. The spread shouldn’t be too large either, which definitely helps. The only thing that we hope is the Warriors don’t suffer any more injuries.
