It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Monday’s schedule.

Oakland Athletics vs. New York Yankees – 7:05 PM ET

There are plenty of MLB games to watch today, but this one could be rather interesting. Taking on the New York Yankees today is the Oakland Athletics, who are 25-49. On the surface, it may seem like the Athletics don’t have a chance. However, they’ve won two games in a row, and in each game, they scored over five runs. On the mound tonight is the 6-3 Paul Blackburn.

With Blackburn on the mound, the Athletics have a good chance of winning this one. His opponent on the other side is Jordan Montgomery, who is 3-1. Each of these starting pitchers has an ERA of 2.97, so the pitching battle should be fun to watch. The Yankees have a sizable edge when it comes to batting though, so we’ll take them -300.

Minnesota Twins vs. Cleveland Guardians – 7:10 PM ET

Beginning shortly after the game above is another fun one between the Twins and Guardians. Minnesota is 41-33 this season, ranking first at the moment in the AL Central. To keep that spot, they’ll need to beat the Guardians in this series. On the mound for the Twins tonight is Sonny Gray, one of their better pitchers. Gray has a 3-1 record as a starter with an ERA of 2.53.

Starting the game for the Guardians is Triston McKenzie, who has a 4-5 record as a starter. His ERA of 3.51 is pretty impressive considering he has under a .500 record. In terms of batting, these teams are near equals. The Twins have a team batting average of .251 while the Guardians are at .250. This one should come down to pitching, so we’ll take the Twins -135.

Miami Marlins vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 7:45 PM ET

The Miami Marlins are only a few games away from reaching the .500 mark. Over their last five games, they’ve won three of them, putting them even closer. Tonight, however, they have a tough matchup against the St. Louis Cardinals. The good news is they’ll have the 5-3, Pablo Lopez, on the mound tonight. Lopez has an ERA of 2.61 over the course of 82.2 innings.

The Cardinals will be starting a good pitcher of their own as well in Adam Wainwright. Wainwright had a tough start to the year but has evened out his record to 5-5. With an ERA of 3.32, this should be a very close pitching battle. Each team performs rather well at the plate, with the Cardinals getting a slight edge. Still, we see the Marlins pulling this one out at +115.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies – 8:40 PM ET

Matchups between two NL West teams usually end up being fairly entertaining. The Los Angeles Dodgers, who are 45-26 and rank first in the NL West, face the Colorado Rockies. The Dodgers have won four of their last five games. The most recent win for Los Angeles was yesterday’s 5-3 win over the Atlanta Braves.

The Dodgers have a few pitchers that remain undefeated this season. One of these pitchers is Tyler Anderson, who is 8-0 as a starter. Anderson will take the mound tonight and face the Rockies batters who have an average of .259. On the mound for the Rockies is Chad Kuhl, who is 4-5 this season. With Anderson out there for the Dodgers, we have to take LA -210.

Chicago White Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels – 9:38 PM ET

Each of the teams in this game has similar records, with the Angels having one more win. The White Sox are 34-37 this season but have an impressive road record of 18-16. Tonight, they’ll test their skills on the road against the Los Angeles Angels (35-40). Lucas Giolito is on the mound for the White Sox in this one. Giolito is 4-4 with a 5.40 ERA this season.

On the mound for the Angels is Noah Syndergaard, who is 4-6 with an ERA of 3.86. Although he’s credited with more losses than Giolito, he’s a better pitcher. Where the White Sox excel, however, is at the plate. Chicago has a team batting average of .252 this season. We expect Syndergaard to slow down the White Sox bats tonight, we’ll take the Angels -135.
