It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Thursday’s schedule.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays – 3:07 PM ET

After two straight losses to the Toronto Blue Jays, the Tampa Bay Rays get one more shot. Last night’s 5-1 loss was indicative of the trouble the Rays have had at the plate. On the mound tonight is Shane McClanahan, one of their best pitchers. McClanahan has a record of 11-5 with a 2.20 ERA this season.

The Toronto Blue Jays are looking to close out this series with a win. Kevin Gausman will get the start for them and he has a 12-9 record with a 3.31 ERA. The Blue Jays really excel at the plate where they have an average of .262. Although the Blue Jays have the edge at the plate, we’ll take the Rays at +118 here.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Miami Marlins – 6:40 PM ET

The Philadelphia Phillies have an 80-62 record this season. They’re quietly third in the NL East and would be higher if the division wasn’t so competitive. Getting the start tonight is the 9-9 Noah Syndergaard, who has an ERA of 4.09. As a team, the Phillies have a batting average of .255, one of the best in the league.

Philadelphia is facing the Miami Marlins, who have a 58-85 record. The Marlins have lost two straight games to the Phillies and we don’t see much changing. Look for the Phillies to grab another win on the road at -135.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. New York Mets – 7:20 PM ET

With a record of 55-88, the Pittsburgh Pirates are looking to pull off a huge upset tonight. They face the 89-55 New York Mets, the leaders of the NL East. On the mound for Pittsburgh is JT Brubaker, who is 3-11 with an ERA of 4.36 this season. At the plate, the Pirates have a batting average of .223, one of the worst in the league.

The New York Mets are clear favorites here, coming in at -260. On the mound tonight is Carlos Carrasco, who is 14-6 with an ERA of 3.80. The Mets are the obvious choice, especially with batters that are hitting an average of .258. Take the Mets at home -260 over the Pirates.

Cincinnati Reds vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 7:45 PM ET

The Cincinnati Reds have a record of 56-86 and face the St. Louis Cardinals tonight. Currently on a six-game losing streak, the Reds desperately need a win. Unfortunately, they’re facing the leaders of the NL Central and one of the best batting teams in the league. The 0-3 Chase Anderson will be on the mound tonight with an ERA of 9.00.

The St. Louis Cardinals are sending out Miles Mikolas, who has an ERA of 3.42 and a record of 11-11. The Cardinals have a team batting average of .257 and are led by Paul Goldschmidt. They’ve gone 3-2 over their last five games and we expect them to get another win here. Take the Cardinals at -292 over the Cincinnati Reds.

San Diego Padres vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – 9:40 PM ET

The final game of the night is between the San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks. The Padres, with a record of 78-65, are second in the NL West. Taking the mound today is Sean Manaea, who has struggled this season. Manaea has an ERA of 5.23 with a record of 7-8 and has allowed 26 home runs.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will start Drey Jameson, who has yet to pitch this season. Without knowing much about him we have to go with the Padres. We know they have a better batting lineup, coming in with a batting average of .240. Go with the Padres on the road over the Diamondbacks today.
