The Wizards fell to 2-11 on the season after a 134-106 road loss to the Knicks on Monday. Washington entered the game as +14.5 point underdogs and failed to cover the spread. The total score of 240 points exceeded the pre-game O/U line of 233.5.
New York took control early with a 10-0 run, extending their lead from 12-9 to 19-12. Washington trailed 40-27 after the 1st quarter and 73-54 at halftime. The Knicks outscored the Wizards 36-21 in the 3rd quarter, and while Washington won the 4th quarter 31-25, the game was already out of reach.

Overall, the Cavaliers shot 49% from the field.
Boston did a good job defending the three, holding Cleveland to 10 made threes on 34% shooting. The Cavaliers also went 15/17 from the free-throw line. The Celtics grabbed 33 defensive rebounds but allowed 12 offensive boards. They also recorded 4 steals and 4 blocks.
Wizards Team Defense
Despite giving up 40 points in the 3rd quarter, the Celtics managed to hold on for the win against the Cavaliers. Boston allowed 117 points, with Cleveland shooting 49% from the field. The Celtics’ best defensive quarter came in the 1st, where they gave up just 20 points.
Boston did well defending the three, holding the Cavaliers to 10 made threes on 34% shooting. Cleveland also went to the line 17 times, making 15 free throws. The Celtics finished with 33 defensive rebounds, while allowing 12 offensive boards, and added 4 steals and 4 blocks.
