The Grizzlies improved to 36-17 on the season with a 119-112 road win over the Suns on Tuesday. Memphis entered the game as -4.5 point favorites and covered the spread with the win. The total points for the game were 231, falling short of the 246-point over/under line.
Memphis jumped out to a 36-26 lead after the 1st quarter and extended their lead by outscoring Phoenix 32-30 in the 2nd quarter. The Suns made a push in the 3rd, winning the quarter 31-27, but the Grizzlies held on, entering the 4th with a 95-87 lead and narrowly losing the final quarter 25-24.
The Clippers Are Coming Off A Win
The Clippers improved to 29-23 on the season with a 130-110 win over the Jazz on Saturday. Playing at home, Los Angeles entered the game as -18 point favorites and covered the spread. The total points for the game were 240, exceeding the O/U line of 224.5 by 15.5 points.
After a 10-0 run by the Jazz put the Clippers behind 43-34, Los Angeles responded by winning the 2nd quarter 29-26. They then took control by outscoring Utah 36-30 in the 3rd and 36-24 in the 4th, pulling away for the win.
